SERVICES

The Drug Education Council utilizes a comprehensive plan of services to address multiple areas of need. Our programs and services are designed to reach a wide range of participants in a variety of settings.

Alcohol and Other Drug Education Presentations

The Drug Education Council Staff conducts presentations for schools, businesses and civic organizations. These programs are tailored to meet the specific needs and interest of each host group.

 

Voluntary Anonymous Juvenile Drug Testing

The Drug Education Council offers free drug testing for Juveniles in an effort to help parents to encourage their children to stay drug free. Families also receive counseling, intervention and referral assistance as needed.

Resource Library

We have an extensive resource and reference library available to the public at our office. You may stop by our office and check out resources (print and audio/visual) and receive information.

Intensive Alcohol & Drug Education Programs for Individuals

Whether you are dealing with

  • Teen use of alcohol, marijuana or other drugs leading to problems with school, family, or juvenile court….

  • Young adult school or court-related issues, such as Minor in Possession of Alcohol, marijuana, drug paraphernalia or other substance use related charges…

  • Adult job-related issues due to violations of drug-free workplace requirements…

We are here to help you find the answers and the assistance you need.

 

Our Intensive Education programs are tailored to meet individual client needs, and are designed to provide a comprehensive overview of alcohol and drug-related information, with an emphasis on how it relates to each client’s situation. As part of the process, we can help you identify potential problem areas and develop a targeted plan of action to address them.

We address issues such as:

  • Dangers of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs

  • Consequences of prescription drug misuse

  • Dangers of illicit drug use

  • Impact of drugs and drug use on the individual and family

  • Addiction and recovery

  • Other related topics as needed
